C'è un polpo che sta facendo impazzire i tifosi di calcio.
Si chiama Paul ed è un polpo indovino che "vive" nell'acquario di Oberhausen, in Germania, e  non sbaglia quasi mai i suoi pronostici sulle sfide dei mondiali.
La tecnica è sempre la stessa: nella sua vasca vengono calati due contenitori pieni di molluschi e contrassegnati dai colori delle due squadre; Paul designa la vincente allungando i suoi tentacoli su uno dei due vasi.
Il cefalopode piu' famoso del mondo ha vaticinato anche sulla finale: il mondiale 2010 sarà della Spagna!
Qualche ombra sui ‘vaticini’ di Paul sembra gettarla un biologo peruviano: Alfredo Salazar, questo il nome dello scienziato, sospetta che ‘’Paul sia influenzato dai suoi allevatori e nello stesso acquario dove si trova’’.
Salazar non ha prove ma teme che ‘’possa essere attirato da un tipo di cibo particolare’’ ad entrare in una vaschetta piuttosto che in un’altra.
L’unica certezza e’ che una trovata pubblicitaria, iniziata quasi per gioco due anni fa agli Europei di calcio, sta facendo divertire mezzo mondo, rubando titoli di quotidiani e servizi televisivi a calciatori e allenatori.

Voglio essere ottimista e credere che una rivolta sia già in atto.
